Before you leave, give your atlas a quick check.
Install and open the app.
Use the App Store or Google Play while you have a connection. Choose your reading language in settings.
Find the countries you want.
Open the profiles you plan to read. Check the content and access available in your installed version.
Try it without a connection.
Turn off your connection for a moment and reopen a country profile. This lets you confirm the reading experience before you need it.
Prepare separate navigation.
If you need an offline route or street map, arrange that in a navigation app. This atlas’s interactive maps are connected features.
Make a flight a small geography lesson.
Start with your destination’s flag and capital, then read about its language and currency. Compare it with the country you are leaving. Choose one detail you would like to learn more about when you reconnect.
You can also use the atlas for a short study session anywhere without data. Read a profile, put the phone down, and recall three facts. Our geography study plan gives you a repeatable routine.
Facts first.
Country profiles are reference material. Changing travel rules, prices and live statistics need current sources.
A few good questions
Does the whole app work without internet?
Country facts are stored locally for reading. Atlas AI, interactive maps and map-based games require internet. Installation and purchases also need connectivity.
Do I have to download every country separately?
Country facts are bundled with the app. Check the profiles and access in your installed version before relying on it during a trip.
Is an offline atlas the same as an offline navigation app?
An atlas explains countries and geography. Navigation apps provide route and street-level guidance. Prepare the tools you need for each task.
Is the offline atlas free?
The app is free to download with optional Premium purchases. Offline storage and free access are separate: your platform, plan and app version determine which features you can use.
